Cow ClinicCow Clinic
Tim Thomas Cow Horse Clinics are held two or three times a year at the Loomis Basin Horseman's Association arena. They are usually divided into two half-day groups - beginning and advanced. If you have ever wondered what it is like to work cattle from the back of a horse, or if you've ever wondered if your horse is up to the task of herding cattle, this is your chance. This is what Kathy Pittman says of her experience: " My AQHA mare Bay and I attended the clinic and worked with Tim over the next few weeks. We entered a One-on-One Cow Penning event just after our last class with Tim, and penned the cow in 15 seconds. Out of 30 riders, Bay and I brought home a Cow Penning Championship buckle."

Tim Thomas Horsemanship clinics, also divided into two half-day groups of beginner and intermediate riders, are a great way to learn new skills, and refine skills that you already have. Every horse and rider in the clinics receives both group and individual instruction from Tim. Laura Balestrieri has taken several of Tim Thomas clinics and says that: "The special relationship that I share with my horse is due to the training that we've received from Tim Thomas. His knowledge, patience, and ability to communicate have greatly influenced and enhanced our relationship."

Two Cow Clinics are scheduled for Sat. April 11 & Sat. May16, 2009. Call Tim at 530- 889-8676, or Kathy Dombrowski at 916-652-5204. Space, as always, is limited, so make your reservations early.
